I have a habit of writing love songs that at first glance sound like a love song, but aren’t. This is just another on the list. I wanted to change a couple lyrics on this song and re-record it as an actual love song, give you too versions depending on your mood. I later decided I was far too lazy for that nonsense. The non-love song version is all you get.
lyrics
A lot of things are on my mind
So many things I can’t describe
Walking circles on this floor
Wearing holes in the world
Damnation
No sensation
I’ve been patient here
But nothing is happening
It never felt like coming home with you (around again)
It never felt like coming home with you around (again)
I framed the shot so long ago
Emoting scenes from a silent show
Been improvising takes
Now I’ve run off the page
Frustration
No elation
I’ve been acting here
But nothing is happening
It never felt like coming home with you (around again)
It never felt like coming home with you around (again)
It never felt like coming home with you (around again)
It never felt like coming home with you around (again)
