Todd Nelson and I started a project called "Souls in Darkness" when we were just young lads. Commonly, I’d write, play and record the music and Todd and I would write the lyrics and put down vocal tracks - although 50% of the original tracks were just me doing all the parts. Later Martha Weiss joined in on violin and some vocals. The project was active for several years and I’ve got boxes of tapes from that time.

I recently decided to exhume the project and re-record a handful of my favourite tracks from this period.
