Another remake from a 1985 track. I decided to keep most of the original structure and musical phrases. I added a rhythm guitar and a few extra sounds here and there. Other than that, it’s the same with new instruments.
lyrics
Heard her call from an empty room
When I turned she was gone
Unfelt feelings lie on closet floors
I haven’t seen her for so long
Pages torn from an empty book
Somethings missing from inside
Hollow stare, not a fallen tear
My eyes are dry
She follows me
She haunts my dream
I’ll ever be alone
Ride the subline and stare at her door
I know she won’t be home
Walk amount the tombstones
Bouquet behind my back
Place the flowers on her grave
As my life fades to black
